Looks can be deceiving.
though i do admit i feel the warmth frm the people around me, it wasn't easy giving the uttermost trust to someone..
as i've mentioned, looks CAN be deceiving.

i've had spys who reported numerous gossips lately and honestly, there were pros n cons about some issues happening.. Hahaz.. Mcm gossip gurl scandal eh? XD
anyway, just wanted to say..
I really have a agree with a statement my english teacher made today.. As stated,
"guys these days aren't really the gentlemen they should be, they're lack of basic soft skills like opening the car door for a lady. "
after deep thoughts, i agreed with my teacher a hundred and one %
most of the guys now aren't acting as a gentleman but they THINK they are.
tat's the sad part.
loads of guys came n went outta my life and there wasn't much display of gentleman-ness and it's just really really Really sad.
even so, i did met a guy who DID open the car door for me once.. Technically, he didn't because i reached out for it 1st.. XD
anyway, he did at least walk over the passenger side, unlike most guys who don't-give-a-damn. So bravo for that.
n there were guys who offered me to cross 1st, before the guy did..
For example, a guy once told me, a gurl should always be in front, regardless when walking up a flight of stairs or perhaps during an escalator ride..
Reason : so he'd be able to catch me when i fall.
so sweet eh? :)

but those are all my experience in the past and i really do hope guys out there who're reading this..

Last weekend was..

lol. Anyway, i went for a bbq party over the weekend n i caught up with a few close friends.. Obviously there're ones who im not-tat-close-with, it's a party anyway. (duh') i did socialise a bit here n there.. Lol. U get wad i mean. XD
it was a string of text messages tat made my night 'interesting'.. Hahaz.. I got to know some secrets i didn't noe existed. :)
perhaps tat's the reason y my weekend was Fun. Unexpected. Fun.

though it wasn't really ideal look n expression i had in mind but i weeped when my sis gave me my fav flower - the rose.
she even clipped 6 beautiful butterfly clips on it.. When i thought no1's gonna b remembering my b'day, let alone celebrating..
im blessed to have a family who cares so much,
a family who pulls me back up when i was sober..
i owe them so much..
friends are important, i don't deny but family is forever..
i was hesitant n felt irritated when there wasn't a big 18th b'day bash, when there wasn't a lorry full of presents for me..
after tonight, i'd b a lady, as quoted by my besttie pui wan.. :)
i m very satisfied with the simple celebration i had with my family, the simple note i recieved from my cousin sheena before she left, a simple b'day wish from a friend, a simple call from someone i love.
